Unifyr supports SMART on FHIR R4 authentication to securely pull patient records from Epic, Oracle Cerner, and MEDITECH systems.

- The EMR issues Unifyr a time-limited access token scoped to your access
- Unifyr queries patient records on your behalf when you view a chart
- Tokens refresh automatically — no need to reconnect each day
Security & Compliance:
- Each connection is scoped to your individual EMR account
- You can only see patients the EMR shows you (treatment relationship enforced)
- All access is logged in both Unifyr and the source EMR
- Disconnecting revokes the stored tokens immediately
